Cookies & your choices.

Effective August 24, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. “Similar technologies” include your browser’s localStorage and pixels/tags embedded by third parties. Together they let a site remember choices, measure traffic, and support advertising.

2. Our consent-first approach

We do not load Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or any other non-essential cookie until you click Accept on the banner shown on your first visit. Until you choose, all analytics and advertising storage is set to denied (Google Consent Mode v2). If you decline, no analytics or advertising cookies are ever set.

Some measurements run regardless of your choice. These are the ones in use today — §4 lists everything we store on your device, and is the authoritative list:

  • Page-speed timings (Vercel Speed Insights) — anonymous performance figures such as how fast the page loads. Sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device.
  • Which pages are used (our own measurement, not a third party) — the section of the site you are in and whether you are on a phone or a computer. Sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device; it cannot recognise you on a return visit or follow you to any other site.
  • How you arrived — if you came from an advert or another website, the campaign tags in that link (including Google and Meta click identifiers), the referring site, and your landing page. Unlike the two above, this is stored on your device, in session storage, until you close the tab. We use it to credit the right advert when you send an enquiry. It is recorded when you arrive, before you answer this banner. It is not a cookie and is not shared with advertisers, but you should know it is there.

Essential site features — forms, calls, and scheduling — work regardless of your choice.

3. Categories we use

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. Always active; cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics — help us understand which pages are useful (Google Analytics 4). Loaded only after you accept.
  • Advertising — measure ad performance and support audience matching (Meta Pixel). Loaded only after you accept.

4. Specific technologies

  • cookie-consent (localStorage, necessary) — stores your granted / deniedchoice so we don’t ask again. Set the moment you choose.
  • ras_attribution_v1 (sessionStorage, functional) — records how you reached the site: campaign tags from the link you clicked (utm_*, gclid, fbclid), the referring website, and your landing page. Written on arrival, before you answer the banner, and only when you arrive from an advert or an external site. Cleared when you close the tab. Sent with your enquiry if you submit one, so the right advert gets credited. Not shared with advertisers.
  • _ga, _ga_* (Google, analytics) — distinguish visitors and sessions. Set only after you accept; IP addresses are anonymized.
  • _fbp (Meta, advertising) — measures ad effectiveness. Set only after you accept.

5. Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw consent at any time using the link in the footer, or by clearing cookies/site data in your browser. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their privacy settings.

6. More information

For how we use the data these technologies collect — including retention and your CCPA/CPRA rights — see our Privacy Policy.
